Coomera Anglican College is a leading Preparatory to Year 12 co-educational day school with a student enrolment of more than 1400 students. Established in 1997, Coomera Anglican College is located at the northern end of the Gold Coast. The College Purpose is to inspire excellence in teaching, learning, service and faith.



The College is seeking a part time Chinese (Mandarin) Teacher who is committed to ensuring the delivery of quality learning experiences that see all students achieve their personal best.



To be successful, you will have:
•
An ability to teach students from Preparatory through to Year 12

•
Be familiar with leading edge pedagogy related to teaching the Chinese Language curriculum

•
Be able to adapt your teaching style to suit the individual needs of the students in your class

•
Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communications skills

•
An ability to work as part of a team and build positive, effective relationships with students, colleagues and parents




You will also hold recognised tertiary qualifications in teaching Chinese as a Second Language, as well as a current Queensland Teachers Registration.



All teaching staff at Coomera Anglican College are expected to take part in the whole life of the College, including participation outdoor education, involvement in co curricular activities and special event days.



In addition, you must be committed to the Anglican ethos and support the values and culture of the College.
